Oracle has extended ANSI-standard SQL with a
CONNECT BY feature
while the WITH keyword is a SQL standard and is implemented in
IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, and the open-source PostgreSQL.
Master Hierarchy

The User makes a selection from the
complete Master Hierarchy on the left
to create the Selected Hierarchy on the right.
This right-hand Hierarchy is stored in a table
following the design in the Data Model below.
